Introduction

I am a traveling family portrait and lifestyle photographer based out of Marion, Indiana. I specialize in capturing moments that will last a life time. I LOVE children. Having four of my own, babies and families are my absolute dream to work with. I love capturing the moments of a fresh new baby, or siblings meeting their new baby for the first time. I love capturing the moment a mama and daddy meet their new bundle of joy and when they are looking at the different features (big sister's dimples, daddy's sloped nose, brother's hands). When you hire me as a photographer, you are hiring me to spend time having fun together. I want our session to be fun. I want the kids to be looking forward to our sessions together. My promise to you, is that we will get portraits that you can not wait to hang on your walls and office. I provide service to a 2 hour radius surrounding both Fort Wayne and Marion, Indiana. I will also travel further after details are discussed. Let me know how I can help you and your family chose a photographer that truly cares about you and your family. From newest babies to adult children. Let's do this together! I take great pride in having fun with my clients. Laughing and having a good time is the best part of my job. I also enjoy getting to know the different families. I love seeing repeat customers, and how their children have grown. I love that images can capture the small details that seem to disappear at the blink of an eye. The newness of a newborn, the full cheeks on a toddler, the smirk of a little one, the love between parents after years of being together. The new love between a young couple. I love all of the different emotions that are caught on camera. Let me do life with you, and send you home with images that will last you a life time.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
My pricing includes the session and images. I would love to discuss how we can make this your best session yet.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
My typical process initially is through email or text. We schedule a phone call do we can discuss what the client is looking for during the session.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have a Master's degree, however I enjoy spending time with families and the excitement that comes with photography. I also have 4 children. Kids and families truly are a passion of mine.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I started doing this work because I had children. I continued doing this work because I can work around families schedules, make families laugh, and hopefully make a sometimes stressful situation be a fun and enjoyable memory.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
While I specialize in children and families, I have experience with maternity, headshots, and adult portraits as well.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I have been doing a lot of children portraits lately. I love them all. From hanging out and baking cookies, to walking around downtown and capturing giggles between friends. I love it all. I love that every session is a tad bit different. My sessions range from 30 minutes to multiple hours if it is a newborn studio session.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
My biggest advice is hire a photographer that you could see being your friend. You will have a lot more fun if you are enjoying the session than if the photographer is dry and boring.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Make sure that you are in complete communication with your photographer that you are going to hire. Ask them what their style is, make sure they are the type of photographer you are looking for. Also, if you have any ideas that you want to try, make sure to ask the photographer. Most photographers I know, are up for new ideas.
